Rain, Rain Everywhere!!! April 2019 Recap

Rain, rain, everywhere!!! Thank you so much to the 25 volunteers that braved the elements to put on a wonderful giveaway. As expected, the turnout was depressed due to the inclement weather (which was severe at times) so we were able to help 162 of our friends and neighbors in ATX.

A huge shout-out to several folks that dropped off bags of clothes at the Atheist Community of Austin library. We had about 8 bags of clothes to distribute, along with a whole host of shoes.
Hugs and kisses to I Support the Girls - Austin, the ATX chapter of I Support the Girls, who was out today to hand out feminine hygiene products to our folks.
Due to an unexpected issue with the storage area, we were severely lacking our normal amount of tables, but a huge thank you to several volunteers that brought their own tables that allowed us to hold our giveaway as normal.
