​Hands sanitized, gloves on and masks on for this pre-packing event. This was a very different beast to take on, but it worked out super well. The original location being outside was hosed, literally, as the rain was unrelenting, so we move to our pre-planned backup locale.

It was a full house, and by "house" we mean library, of volunteers. 20 folks made short work of sorting a table-worth of loose toiletry donations, close to 1000 bags of wipes, floss, and cotton swabs, and organizing plain shirts into bundles to make distribution easier the next day.

The week before any giveaway, I collect all of the donations that people have sent to via our wishlist or in person and start sorting things into bins.  These bins will go directly on the table (to be combined with donations brought by other Austin AHH volunteers).
