It's Beginning to Warm Up...April 2022 Giveaway Recap

Much love to the 7 volunteers that came out this morning to hand out 148 bags of aid to our friends and neighbors in central and south Austin.  We were also able to meet up with 2 F-TAP recipients to give them bus passes for the month of April.  F-TAP is an extension of our TAP program where we support an individual or family with bus passes every single month for no less than 6 months.  Thanks to the generous support of several amazing folks, we have been able to support a family of 2 (both with disabilities) for over a full year. 

All the love in the world to Foundation Beyond Belief , I Support the Girls - Austin , Freethinkers Association of Central Texas for helping to secure food, menstrual supplies, and coffee, respectively. For the 1st time in a long time, we got down to our last few drops of coffee when we started off with 9 gallons .

People really enjoyed the extra, fresh food items this time around, so thanks so much to FBB for that. Speaking of, the Secular Week of Action will be happening in just a few weeks. During this time, secular groups around the world will be going out into their local communities to make a huge impact over the course of a week, so head to that page and take a look at what might be going on in your area!!

We will see everyone once again on April 30th for the prepacking and on May 1st for the distribution!!

With that, we'll leave you with this - One gentleman at our newest locale made a statement that was unexpected and stuck with several of us: "Y'all are not a church. Y'all just bring love."
