Pink is in the Air...February 2020 Giveaway Recap!!

Winter is just beginning to lift, but it was still fairly chilly this morning. About 160 people were served on this morning by 25 volunteers, including a few new folks!!  We had flowers and cookies, packed in bags by our lovely volunteer elves, to celebrate the pink season

Just under 8 gallons of coffee were consumed, along with lots of hot chocolate. The lovely I Support the Girls - Austin, of the I Support the Girls national organization, was out distributing feminine hygiene products and bras to our community; we are always super grateful for their commitment to giving back !!!


We also distributed a few more of our lovely shirts, thanks to Foundation Beyond Belief, to a few more volunteers. We will definitely need to grab more over the next few months!!

We plan on having bus passes once again in March, so that stand to be exciting!! This month marks the end of our winter-focused giveaways, as the temperature warms up a bit leading into the spring months.


Thanks for those who participated in the Ending Community Homelessness Coalition (ECHO) Point-In-Time Count in January!! With the census on the horizon, we are hoping to have leaflets to hand out in March so our recipients can know what to expect.


While we will have green cookies for the March giveaway, if you have an idea of things we can add for that themed giveaway, shoot us a message or comment.
