Happy New Year!! Recap of the 1st Giveaway of 2020

The 1st giveaway of the 2020 was a large one, with no doubt. 37 volunteers covered every inch of table space for attendees in excess of 220 individuals.

About 9 gallons of coffee and 2.5 gallons of hot chocolate went out for folks to keep warm in ATX. All the love to I Support the Girls - Austin , the local chapter of the national organization I Support the Girls, for coming out to provide feminine hygiene products for recipients. For coming out so often to giveaways, they received 2 of the new shirts with our name. 💜💜💜💜

Speaking of, we distributed many of the new Foundation Beyond Belief shirts out to regular volunteers. We are super happy with them!!!💚💚💚💚

We had a flurry of donations coming in this month, so a lovely shout-out to all of the individuals who helped to make that happen. Thank you for helping to make what we do possible!!

Since the temperature will still be fairly low in the upcoming month, our winter-focused items will still be in play for February.

Also, keep a lookout for a post about the Homelessness Point-In-Time Count that will be happening on the morning of January 25th. Ending Community Homelessness Coalition (ECHO) still needs additional volunteers to help with the count to get a clearer picture of those experiencing homelessness in our community, so there'll be a post with those training dates for those that want to join that effort with us.
