Our Old Record is Smashed!! Over 250 Helped in June!!

We were able to aid about 250 people on today, the largest single giveaway we have done!!!!! Thanks so much to the 25 volunteers that came out to with supplies, smiles and time to make this happen once again!!

We had some awesome donations ranging from sunscreen to backpacks; it was much appreciated!! In addition, we received monetary donations that allowed us to purchase additional backpacks, granola bars, and razors, among other items. Even in the morning, it was hot and muggy, making everyone sweat really quickly, but we had 300 cold waters to fight back with
Hearts 💜💜💜 and hugs 💪💪💪 to Support the Girls - Austin, a chapter of the national I Support the Girls, for coming out and handing out feminine hygiene products on the giveaway line with us.
Some special items we had in stock were reading glasses and hair grease (there was a MUCH higher demand for hair grease/petroleum jelly so we'll have to take this into consideration for upcoming months).
Our clothing tables, all 3 of them, were overwhelmed with donations from local Austinites, Atheist Community of Austin members and bags from Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.

We'll hop on the inventory and update the website and Amazon wish list in the next few days. Once that's done, a new event will be posted here!! 1st Sunday of the month, July 1st, at 9:15am is the time. See you then!
