The Summer Cometh in June and July...Giveaway Recaps and Shout-outs

We have our next giveaway just days away, but we must apologize for falling behind with posting, in general. To say things have been busy lately would be an understatement.

​With that said, we want to say *THANK YOU* to donors near and far over the last few months. Such amazing support has been unyielding recently, all while we are dealing with this new normal.

Please know that all of your efforts are appreciated and go right into what we do every month. We were told by an individual whom we have served over the past few years that we are one of the sole groups that never stopped coming out and how much they appreciate it what we do. On time, every time (mostly, lol).

​Thanks to the Atheist Community Of Austin, we were able to give out 30-day bus passes once again in August. It is hard to describe just how important this addition has been. Since we began this initiative in 2019, we have given out 400 1-day passes, 200 7-day passes, and just under 800 30-day passes to our community to ease the burden of transportation to government services, social/case workers, and NGO service providers.

Another lovely hug I Support the Girls - Austin, of the national I Support the Girls, for not only providing hygiene supplies for all recipients, but also volunteering to pack bags and distribute them, as well as providing a large number of cloth masks to hand out to our community. You really are amazing folks!!

Thanks to the Freethinkers Association of Central Texas for helping with personal hygiene items, waters, and other donations. We had volunteers that brought out items to the pre-packing event, folks sewing together masks, providing access to bulk stores allowing for larger purchases, and so much more.
