Mother's Day-ish Giveaway May 2019

Whooo!! It's beginning to warm up out there. Much love to the 27 volunteers that came out to help work the tables today. Easily 215+ folks came through today for our Mother's Day themed event.

We had cookies and flowers to hand out to all of the women that passed through, as well as handed some to a few sons and husbands to give to their significant others.
Warm hugs to Capital Metro and the Atheist Community of Austin for aiding in the purchase of 500 Day Pass tickets for the community. The aim was centered on ensuring every single person going through the line received 2 tickets; we were successful in that effort. We'll have to see what we have in store for next month as our large item.
5 gallons of coffee and much of the lemonade Kool - Aid was absorbed very quickly over the course of the hour. The feminine hygiene products were, of course, provided thanks to the lovely folks of I Support the Girls - Austin, the ATX affiliate of I Support the Girls.
Thanks to Freethinkers Association of Central Texas for the bottles of hand sanitizer for the line. Much love to all of the donors who sent in items, dropped it off at the ACA library, bought things from the Amazon wishlist, or even just shared the event to your friends.
The next event will be June 2, 2019 @ 9:15am. Keep an eye out for event and the items needed!!
