So Much Happening in the November Giveaway!!

The giveaway that took place on the 1st of November was a big one!! We distributed 200 month-long bus passes, donated by the Atheist Community Of Austin to individuals (completely running out just as we were reaching the end of the line at the second encampment). You cannot imagine the sheer amount of need, relief, and the gracious comments that this program generates from those whom we serve every month.

The always amazing I Support the Girls - Austin was out in force, helping in the pre-packing and to distribute on the streets, in addition to providing all sanitary supplies to those who needed them. Kudos to the Freethinkers Association of Central Texas for providing supplies like razors, water and alcohol wipes.

Next month begins the first of our winter focused giveaways. Thanks to amazing donors that went to our GoFundMe, AustinAHH.org/winter, we were able to make purchases for winter hats, gloves and thermal socks that will serve 240 people!!!! Thanks to generous contributors to the campaign (like Peter) and to Aron Ra and Lilandra's podcast on Election Day, we were able to raise enough to get 200+ sets of thermal underwear for the coldest time of the year, which will be given out in January's distribution.

That's *SO* much information, but it's worth saying. We love y'all so much for all the support y'all give to make this happen month after month. Pre-packing for December is on the 5th, with the giveaway on the following day, the 6th!! See y'all then!!
