We hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!!
Here's just a few announcements: • For those that have been asking or want to send supplies to Puerto Rico (PR) via Ateístas de Puerto Rico (APR), we have been advised that the current situation with theft occurrences at the port, with shipping containers, etc. has made sending items directly a tenuous method. Therefore, at least for now, if you'd like to help, you can make a tax-deductible donation at AidPR.org. Though their official disaster fundraiser has ended raising over $22,000 (*woot*), this relief effort will be for the long haul and you should see the link towards the bottom to donate to APR. APR is buying items directly in PR and distributing them with the help of APR volunteers directly to severely affected communities and people.

This Texas winter (yes, even Texas gets cold), Austin Atheists Helping the Homeless is gearing up to give out blankets for those that will bear out this winter directly in the elements.
Thanks to our 25 (including little ones) volunteers that came out in force on this fairly cool but super humid and rainy day, we were able to give out supplies and assistance to over 155 Austinites!!!
